Tanya's Qualifications
Background
Tanya has been a licensed Physical Therapist for about 16 years, 12 of those in
independent, private practice!  After graduating at the very top of her class, she became
skilled in all aspects of therapy~pediatrics through geriatrics. Then in early 2000, a
lifelong love and experience in the animal world married together with the idea of
treating 4-legged, furry individuals; originally born out of her own animals' necessity.
Since then, Tanya has completed extensive continuing education to further her knowledge
of the canine and equine client; including all modules for her post-graduate certification in
Canine Rehabilitation through the University of Tennessee.
As a seasoned clinician, she has vast experience with wellness programs, post-injury
rehabilitation and the use of modalities as well as their purpose (including electrical
stimulation, ultrasound, LASER, heat/cold, etc.).  In addition, she is one of only a handful
of Physical Therapists given "expert consultant" status by the licensing examining board
of California.
