Chocolate Chip Cookies Ingredients—


1. I cup firmly packed brown sugar


2. ¾ transfat free tub margarine


3. 2 large egg whites


4. 2 tsp pure vanilla extract


5. 1 (15 oz) can of chickpeas (drained)


6. 2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips


7. 2 cups flour


8. ½ cup old fashioned oats


9. 1 tsp baking soda


10. ½ tsp salt


Preheat oven 350 degrees -cream brown sugar and margarine -add eggs and vanilla, mix well -add chickpeas and chocolate chips -mix the dry ingredients in separate bowl and then add to wet mixture until thick dough forms -Drop by tablespoons fulls onto a greased cookie sheet -press gently with fork to flatten -bake until golden and just set, 11-13 minutes (don’t overbake). -transfer to wire rack to cool -store in airtight container for up to 3 days. ***I tried this recipe and it was pretty good. I did notice that the cookies had a really wet texture by the third day. Not sure why
